About Cody:

I grew up in the heart of the Appalachian mountains in Eastern, Kentucky. I grew up on a farm and was raised by a single parent. Those two environments instilled discipline and work ethic in my siblings and myself at an early age. However, the desire to serve people came from Appalachia.

At 18 I joined the United States Army and began my public service career, which ultimately led me to the Life Insurance and Financial Service industry. My family was never serviced or educated properly in the realm of finances or life protection, and I wanted to be the one to change that. 

Fast forward to 2022, I have served thousands of clients across more than 30 states. I have sat at family’s kitchen tables from Seattle to Virginia. Whether the need is Mortgage Protection, Final Expense, or protecting hard-earned retirement money, or earning tax-free supplemental retirement through IULs, I have put in the time and hours to be labeled a matter expert. Truly, though, I just love to help and protect families. Again, nobody ever provided that service for mine. 

My knowledge was obtained the hard way. No shortcuts were taken here. In today’s world of technology, though, I no longer have to be in an airport every week. This allows my agency to help serve clients all across the country on a daily basis. I work with companies like Prosperity, Americo, AIG, Aflac, Aetna, Mutual of Omaha, North American, John Hancock, and many more.
